The seaside location is lovely, but several things weren’t ready even though guests were being welcomed in mid-May. The whirlpool was empty, for example, and the lounge chair was down in the basement. We also didn’t get the comfort room that had been advertised. The bed was anything but comfortable, and the toilet was squeezed between the wall and the shower door. A real disappointment.

It’s been a while since we stayed there, but they still send lovely birthday wishes every year. I wanted to send something nice back. We remember the food and location as fantastic, and still think of our time there very fondly.

Watching the sunrise from our balcony was sublime. Our room was right on the beach, with a 180° view of the coast, which was such a thrill. My husband Moreno and I love quiet and walks at dawn, and this year we wanted to try a different part of Romagna. Strand Hotel suited us beautifully, with an excellent location and service, a very good menu, and a clean room. We’ll definitely make this a regular trip. Thank you all, we’ll get in touch early in the year.

Once we found this place, we never left. The hotel is clean, and that’s a guarantee of a great holiday. The food is excellent and there’s plenty of it. From the staff to the owners, Paride and Angelo, everyone is kind and friendly.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant service was excellent. We had a comfortable room for our weekend at this lovely hotel right on the seafront. A good hotel, and one I’d recommend.
