Belluno suited me because it didn’t feel crowded or overly touristy. I stayed four days and used the hotel as a base for the southern Dolomites. The room was roomy and had modern furnishings, plus a minibar and kettle. Breakfast was included and really good. You can catch a bus from the hotel to trailheads, or set off on foot from there. Good value for the money.

We only stayed one night, but the friendly service and spacious, spotless room with a great bed make me recommend this hotel. We arrived at noon and got lucky, our room was already ready. The receptionist was helpful enough and very welcoming.

After four days hiking in the mountains, this was a lovely place to land. I’d lost my phone charging cable on the trail, and when I asked the front desk where I could buy one, they gave me a spare from the chargers previous guests had left behind. They were also very patient when we paid the lodging tax in loose change because we didn’t have small bills.

The room was big and squeaky clean, and I loved it. Breakfast was amazing, too. The staff were especially polite and helpful, and the service was great.

You can walk to the train station, the city center, and all its many restaurants in about five minutes. The hotel has a very vintage feel, while still giving you the comforts of a modern place.
