We booked b&b emozioni Fiorentine on January 27, 2025, months before our stay. Then, the night before, May 3rd, the hotel cancelled our reservation. The same dates are still listed on their site for four times the price. We’re on our honeymoon and now scrambling to find somewhere else. DO NOT STAY HERE! They’ll cancel if they can get more money.

I was shocked by the message from B&B Hotel. They cancelled a reservation they had confirmed on FEB 14, and that’s unacceptable for any reason. The message said: “I am contacting you on behalf of the new management of Emozioni Fiorentine in Florence. We wanted to inform you that we have recently taken over the property and are currently carrying out renovation work. Unfortunately, this means we will not be able to accommodate you on the dates you have booked. We recommend reaching out to Booking.com and using the Extranet messaging system to contact the previous management. They should be able to assist you in either relocating to another property or arranging a refund. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to reach out. Best regards,”

We were right on the piazza, but the soundproofing kept the outside noise from reaching us. The rooms were fresh and clean, the facilities were excellent, and check-in was very friendly. Sensational location. Highly recommended!

The B&B itself was really cute, and the service was great. They were very helpful with questions and even arranged a taxi for me early in the morning. Step outside and you’re straight into the Piazza de Repubblica, yet the rooms were so quiet you wouldn’t guess how central it is. I highly recommend staying here.

The room was comfortable and clean, and the location is superb. Breakfast at a nearby Cafe tasted better than most hotel buffets. The staff were kind and the service was great. If you’re looking for a place in Florence, this is one of the best. You get more than you paid for. Great place.
