B&B Fossanoce

I’m quoting the booking listing: “Some accommodations have a kitchenette with stove, refrigerator, and microwave.” The problem is, the owner doesn’t let guests use those facilities. For a morning coffee, you have to drive eight minutes to a partner bar. The manager seemed friendly and the facilities were adequate. The area is fairly quiet and cool, which I’d recommend, but it’s on a different property. I’d only stay here as a last resort. This felt like an insult to Sicilians, and especially to people from Catania.

The triple room had comfortable beds and pillows, and the breakfast at Condorelli bar was excellent. It’s a very good location. The sheets and towels were clean, though the overall cleaning could have been better without being outright dirty. We couldn’t use the kitchen, weren’t given a bottle of water, and the coffee pods were decaf only. Still, it wasn’t bad.

Everything we needed was within walking distance, and Etnaland wasn’t far away. Our triple room was clean, quiet, comfortable, and nicely set up, and the owner was kind and helpful. The breakfast voucher for the historic Condorelli bar was a real plus. I’d happily recommend it. Thanks for everything, see you next time. 😉👍

We had a wonderful weekend at the B&B. Breakfast at the historic Condorelli bar was amazing, and the apartment itself was welcoming, tastefully renovated, and spotless. The owner was around but never intrusive, and quickly helped with what we needed, along with plenty of useful tips and information. We’d be very glad to return.
