The beach has clear water and small pebbles, but the shuttle included with the mandatory club card doesn't have enough capacity. You only get one sun bed and one chair, with a second bed costing 5 € per day extra. The so-called entertainment was poor, with karaoke about all they could offer. The hotel sits on a hill with lovely sunset views, though you can't enjoy them over meals because guests are kept in a windowless hall that feels like a cellar. Be prepared, nobody here speaks a word other than Italian. The rooms look okay, but have issues. Until those are fixed, the hotel doesn't deserve its 4 star rating, and the gastronomy is a shame too. Don't be misled by the restaurant and food photos, those are just from occasional business events. Vacation guests are treated like a second, low-cost category.

The sea at Nettuno gets deep quite suddenly, so I wouldn't say the beach is good for small children. The all-inclusive food was limited in choice and repetitive through the week. I hope they improve it, since the place has a lot of potential. The hotel has an impressive Tyrrhenian Sea view. Service was nice, and our room was clean and quiet, with daily cleaning. It's not quite at the usual European 4* level, though, and few people speak English or another foreign language, so be ready to use a translator. They run a regular bus to the beach. I appreciated that there was no forced entertainment like karaoke or loud music late at night. For me, it's an honest 3* place.
