I keep coming back to this historic house in central Bene Vagienna when I visit the Langhe. The frescoed rooms have plenty of character, and the owners are welcoming, courteous, and always willing to help. Highly recommended.

We slept like royalty at Casa della Sofora, and were welcomed and looked after like kings. What a spectacular weekend!

A quiet, special spot right in the center.

The house has a lovely garden, and the village itself is charming, with the Langhe very close by. It's a period property and the price is good. The hostess was very kind and shared ideas for things to see nearby. On the downside, our private bathroom was downstairs, which was inconvenient. If I remember right, Booking.com hadn't mentioned that. The original windows and doors don't block passing traffic well, and the nearby bell tower rings early in the morning.
