The host Giuseppe is so friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and very comfortable, and the B&B is easy to reach by car. The caves and rock buildings are only a few steps away.

Mariella was so sweet and checked in each day to make sure we were doing OK. We skipped breakfast, but there are good spots within walking distance for coffee, paninis, and more. The B&B had everything we needed. It was hot while we were there, and the air conditioning worked great through the warm nights. Our room was spotless and had a good fridge for cold drinks. The old town is very close, and we parked on the next street for all three days. I’d highly recommend staying here.

Mariella was lovely and gave us all the information we needed, then made us a delicious breakfast. I spent a night here with my family, just steps from Sasso Barisano and well placed for exploring the historic center. The room was spacious, clean, and well maintained. It faces a busy street, so there was some noise, but it didn’t bother us.

The open living room upstairs, between the two bedrooms, was a lovely feature. Mariella was friendly and kind, including when she showed us around Matera’s historic center. Breakfast was plentiful and included homemade cakes. The rooms and bathrooms were charming and very clean, and it’s easy to walk to the center. I’d recommend it and will definitely come back.
