Apartment Nido Stazione

The host was super friendly and shared great local tips. The apartment is spacious and in a perfect spot, just minutes from the train station and airport bus, with handy transport to Milan and Lake Como. Shops and cafés are close by too. A few things could be better: the moka pot didn’t work well on the induction stove, there weren’t enough glasses or proper knives, and the hot water ran out when both showers were used at once. Still, it was good value and a useful base for exploring the area.

The part I most want to mention is our host, Mr Mario. Our flight was cancelled, and despite everything being full that night because of a radar collapse, he found us somewhere to stay. He then drove all eight of us to the apartment in two trips, and in the morning made the same two trips to the bus station so we could set off home. Mr Mario, thanks so much again! We highly recommend him and his apartments. We were two families staying together. The accommodation was really good, very clean, and close to the main train station and town center.

We were bitten by bed bugs while staying in this apartment. The owner was arrogant and rude, with no care or respect for what had happened. Absolutely disgusting place. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

We stayed in apartment 4, which has a large balcony that gets sun for almost the whole day. Our host was really kind and flexible about our arrival time. Halfway through the weekend, the apartment was cleaned and fresh towels were provided. If you like quality wine, there’s a wine bar around the corner with good aperitivo.
