The room we were given was tiny, about 3 by 3.5 metres. There was no kitchen, microwave, or fridge, just a 15-inch TV, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning that made odd noises. We got a thin blanket, though thankfully the weather was warm. I had reserved a room at Arooms, but at the CityHub point, where we picked up the keys, they said there was a problem with my reservation and offered another room on the same street. They called it Ecologic Moroni. I trusted them and accepted, and I already know that was a bad decision.

It was clean and nice, but cold, and the air conditioner wouldn't work. There weren't any keys, just a door code. The info desk uses WhatsApp, so it's easy to get in touch.

The place was clean, with fresh towels, a comfortable bed, and a kitchen. But there was no way to adjust the heating, only one bathroom for all the rooms, and the walls were very thin. Street noise and noise from the bathroom were both a problem. Avoid the pink room!

I arrived at 11pm and couldn't check in, so I called the owner. He told me he'd cancelled my reservation and sold the room to someone else, but hadn't told me or the booking website. He then cancelled it on the booking site within two minutes of our call, so he wouldn't have to explain anything to them. It was awful, unprofessional treatment, especially for a guest arriving at 11pm. He didn't apologize.
