Botton d'Oro Pelabrocco

We booked at the last minute, and the owner was really kind and helpful. The room was clean and had everything we needed. It was an amazing experience.

It’s close to the old city, and breakfast was good. The only issue was the very thin room door, so kitchen sounds carried right through at 7am. Still, this isn’t really a place for sleeping in. Wake up with the sunrise!

We liked the cosy room and the reasonable price, and the location near citta alta was great. The thin doors were a letdown, though, especially with noisy guests.

The room itself was nice, but it was sad to leave Italy feeling that the host didn’t care about us, only our money. On the last night before my morning flight, I’d booked because Booking.com said breakfast was included. After we arrived, the lady wasn’t there and everything was handled by phone. She said there was no breakfast because of Covid, which made no sense to me, so I had to leave much earlier to find somewhere to eat before my flight. There was no AC, and it was super cold. She also charged an extra 8 euro for parking. None of the other places we stayed charged us for that, and I couldn’t find the fee information on Booking.com.
