The view over Citta Basa was lovely, and Laura’s food tip took us to an outstanding meal at Sant Ambreous. The apartment itself had a charming rustic feel, was spotless, and suited us brilliantly. We were welcomed warmly when we collected the keys, with helpful communication beforehand. It’s right by the funicular, so everything Citta Alta offers is an easy walk away. A real gem we’d happily recommend.

Laura made meeting the host part of what made this place so special. The apartment has a stunning interior with a medieval feel, yet it’s still really cozy. From the window, the panoramic view over the downtown is especially lovely in the morning. Its superb location makes it a great choice if you’re spending time in Citta Alta. I bet you haven’t stayed somewhere quite like it.

We found the apartment cozy and the beds comfortable, with clean linens and a nice city view from the window. The location is excellent, with shops and a funicular nearby, and the staff were friendly. One drawback was that the old refrigerator didn’t work well. The apartment also wasn’t heated.
