Fuoriporta House

The suites were comfortable and had everything we needed, but we especially loved the bar-restaurant. Great views, lovely food and drinks, and staff who were so kind and welcoming. Highly recommend it.

We spent one night at Fuori Porta House, and the stay was far below what I expected from even a 3-star property. The room had no working heat. Staff gave us a portable open electric heater instead, which felt unsafe and completely unsuitable for a hotel room. We were cold all night and worried about it. At about 10 PM, we were told we could either find another hotel ourselves or pack everything and travel across more than half the city to a different property they could arrange. Neither option was realistic at that hour. Staff apologized the next morning and promised proper compensation. After we left, they changed their tone, played down what had happened, and wouldn't honor that promise. The room, the heater, and the way they handled the problem were unacceptable. For the price and category, I expected reliability and professionalism, and got neither. I don't recommend this hotel.

Fuoriporta House made exploring Bergamo easy. It's a short walk from the old city center, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well equipped. We got a warm welcome and a complimentary drink, and the staff stayed friendly and helpful throughout our two nights. Breakfast had plenty of healthy choices, and the coffee was fantastic. We had an amazing stay and would happily return.

I booked in the morning for a little birthday surprise, and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. They arranged everything exactly as I’d asked. Perfect location 😍 Thanks so much for a lovely experience.
