La Corte Antica

We were disturbed by loud music until 1-2am, and someone next door kept banging on the kitchen wall whenever my children and I talked. We could hear them speaking Italian. The banging became so loud that my 12-year-old and 5-year-old were frightened, and the little one started crying. I had to bang back and tell them to stop upsetting us. My son even wondered if the landlady was doing it, since she has two properties in the same building or next door. The flat also wasn't clean enough. The pillows and mattress need a proper wash, there was a strong nicotine smell, and the sofa bed and the rest of the place were dusty. The kitchen fridge was dirty and falling to pieces because it's too old. The clothes rails were awkward too, one too high and one too low. The landlady wasn't helpful. She acted as if we were causing the noise, then said she'd never had this problem before, which really annoyed me. She didn't seem to care and just wanted the money. This isn't child friendly. There are many better places in Bergamo with better reviews. I should've searched more before booking. Avoid this property.
