The location is very good, the mountain view is amazing, and the shared kitchen is fully equipped. There's outdoor seating with that same great view, and staff were generally helpful with advice. Repairs were made promptly when we reported them. Still, this is an expensive shared flat, so don't expect a hotel. It wasn't clear which rooms had private bathrooms, and ours didn't, which was very disappointing. Breakfast was poor and limited: bread, butter, jam, and packaged croissants, in small amounts. There was no cheese, ham, vegetables, pastries, or fruit, and none of it seemed fresh. It was basically toast with butter or jam, with no service. The room didn't feel cozy and had no litter bin. The advertised mountain view looks over a very busy roundabout, and it was noisy at night. Furniture was very basic, and parking was 150m away. In the management's response, they tried to blame our language skills for the disappointment. The real issue is that their description isn't quite accurate, so check carefully what you're booking. There are hotels in the area for the same price, so don't make the mistake we did.

The room is well cared for, very clean, and has beautiful views. The bedroom was nice too. I did miss having air conditioning or at least a fan, though, and the breakfast choice was quite limited: bread, cornflakes, croissants, or buns, with little else.

Nago has most things close by: a bakery, market, pharmacy, two gas stations, tobacco and newspapers, ice cream, some bars, and four restaurant-pizzerias. Torbole is only 1 Km away and there is a bus, though the beach is just a 15-minute walk. Garden Belvedere is a villa high on the hill, with a large garden and a great panorama over Garda Lake, close to Climbing Belvedere in Nago. All guests share the kitchen, living room, big terrace, and 1500 square meters of garden overlooking the lake. On the top floor, guests can choose between two bedrooms with private baths and two bedrooms sharing two bathrooms. Apart from food, the house has what you need, including sheets, towels, and toilet paper.

The bed was comfortable, the facilities were clean, and the lake and surrounding mountains look fantastic from here. I'd recommend it to a friend.
