A month after booking a one-night stay, I still haven't received the refund I was promised. The night before the visit, the hotel texted to say they had a virus infection and asked me to cancel through Expedia. Although the booking was non-refundable on Expedia, they assured me I'd get all my money back. Since then they've refused to communicate with Expedia about it, and have ignored my messages. It feels like a con. Stay well clear!!!!

The apartment was comfortable, and there was free coffee plus cooking equipment if needed in Italy 🤣. The owners were very welcoming too. They helped me sort out parking and suggested a good place for dinner.

There are several affordable options, from the Lower City of Bergamo to Città Alta. It's a shared apartment for guests, and what I liked about the one in via Marroni,Bergamo was the full set of amenities: a fridge, stove, toaster, and even a washing machine.

The rooms are great and the location is great too. Fabrizio, the owner, was really helpful.
