The wall beside the sofa was unsightly, damp, and bulging, with an old chest covering it. There was a jug of tap water on the table, a box of stale biscuits, and empty Nespresso jars. The electric kettle was dirty, and a dirty microfiber cloth had been left on the broken kitchen faucet, which sprayed water on you. The refrigerator was moldy. They knew we were coming with a child, but the place wasn't heated. The bathroom windows had broken blinds. For decor, there was an old stove left on, an old TV, and an even older toy kitten. On top of the tourist tax, they wanted another 2 E. for the invoice.

It's in a fantastic location, and the interior has a wonderful atmosphere, both comfortable and nice to look at. The bathroom is great, and it had everything we three women aged 9 to 40 needed, including an iron, hairdryer, and toaster. The airport is a 20-minute walk away, or just one stop on bus number 1.

In a beautiful courtyard in a quiet residential area, this is a distinctive rural home that's been restored with care. Public transport is convenient, and Orio al Serio Airport is close, but far enough away that you don't get the noise. It can comfortably fit up to four people, ideal for couples or families. The owner was extremely courteous and professional. The heating worked very well; the sleeping area got so hot that we had to turn it off.
