We arrived after midnight and had to find somewhere else to stay. We’d arranged a late check-in in advance, including confirming our arrival time after being told it would cost 10E, but nobody let us in when we got there. There was no gate phone, only two numbers posted on the gate, and neither answered. Booking.com wasn’t any help either. My boyfriend and I had booked one night in May after a flight. We hadn’t read the reviews beforehand, so maybe it was for the best that we never stayed at that awful place.

We spent most of the day out exploring because the place was so depressing that we didn’t want to come back. I’d recommend a hotel instead, and in my opinion this place should be forgotten about. The owner won’t meet you in person and only talks by phone. You have to call for a key code, and nobody is there to greet you. The residents seem to hate travelers. The place is run down: the TV and fridge didn’t work, there was no toilet paper, and the shower overflowed, leaving the bathroom floor soaked and slippery. Someone could get seriously hurt. The beds weren’t warm, and the back garden was a mess. It seems the owner has let the place deteriorate since 2020. If you’re expecting a full experience, don’t come here under any circumstances.

Our hotel let us down, so I called at 1 am and they had a room available. It was comfortable and cozy for the price, and had equipment we didn’t end up using. I was happy with the service.

It’s a cheap place near Bergamo airport, in a peaceful neighborhood. But with the shared accommodation, the other residents were extremely noisy. The airport is so close that leaving the windows open overnight means you may wake up when the first flight lands, around 5:30 am.
