The rooms are a little old and could use renovation, though their dated feel also gives the place a bit of old-time charm. Service was good, the staff welcoming, and breakfast satisfying. Right in the heart of Turin, the hotel is very convenient for exploring the city on foot. A positive stay, and I’d recommend it for the location and atmosphere.

Breakfast was included for my four-night stay, and it was very good with a nice range of choices. The staff were kind and helpful throughout. The hotel is very central and, although old and in need of refurbishment, it was very clean, which I appreciated. The furniture, bathroom, doors, and general decor all feel dated. I’ve also noticed that hotels in Italy lately don’t provide slippers, toothpaste, or toothbrushes. Perhaps you can ask reception for the last two, but it’s inconvenient to walk barefoot in the room or have to pack your own slippers when travelling.

The location is good, but this was the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in all my travels. The manager at reception was rude and unwelcoming, and the staff were aggressive and unfriendly, almost like something from a horror movie. The rooms were very old, the beds uncomfortable, and the bathroom wasn’t clean. Heating stopped at night, and there wasn’t even basic toiletries like shampoo or soap. Breakfast was a complete disaster: just boiled eggs and jam in plastic containers, all very poor quality. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

We accidentally booked the wrong date and contacted the hotel straight away to ask for a change. Staff said there were no rooms available for the date we needed. To check, we went in person without mentioning our Booking.com reservation, and were told rooms were available after all. Even so, they still refused to change our booking. They also wanted an extra €120 for a very modest room, which felt completely unjustified in the circumstances. The contradictory answers, lack of honesty, and unhelpful attitude make this a hotel I strongly advise avoiding.
