Ramé Suites

We found the place easily with the address and could walk to both the old and new town. The funicular and bus station were close too. The rooms felt spacious and comfortable, though they didn't look like the pictures on Booking. Coffee, tea, and plenty of toiletries were provided. The code locks made us feel safe. The pre-check-in form was straightforward, but took a while for our large group. I did message them during the stay and never got a reply, so customer service could be better.

I had to find somewhere else at the very last minute. The owner contacted me on WhatsApp outside Booking and sent links asking for extra tax payments that weren't listed in the reservation, along with my card details. They also wanted photos of our documents through websites that didn't seem secure when I checked. I refused and offered to show the documents in person, but then they wouldn't send the property access code. The service was totally unacceptable. It felt like a scam, and I wouldn't recommend it.

We only stayed one night, but the room was spacious, with a large, comfortable bed, a hot shower, coffee, and plenty of amenities for me and my partner. The location was great, close to the funicular and the upper town. There's also a café near the top station with an incredible view of Bergamo. We'd put this hotel on our list if we visit again.

We had reserved a parking space, but none was available for us. Worse, the room door was broken and wouldn't lock, so neither we nor our belongings felt safe. Completely unacceptable.
