Relais San Vigilio has a warm, private feel, more like staying in someone's lovely home than in a regular hotel. The design is tasteful and the atmosphere is really relaxing. We also loved the restaurant. The dishes were creative and beautifully presented, with excellent flavors and a clear sense of care in every course. A lovely spot for an unhurried dinner and good wine. We'd absolutely come back and recommend both the hotel and restaurant.

We'd stayed here years ago and hoped we'd make it back. It was still the wonderful place we remembered, with so much care in every detail. The beds are comfy, the decor is beautiful, the views are stunning, and both the food and drinks were lovely. The staff were friendly too. It feels like an oasis amid all the chaos of the world. If you get the chance to stay, do. It exceeded what we'd expect from a hotel and left us wishing other places could match it. Thanks again, and thanks to Roberta for the lovely birthday candle at breakfast.

Alice at reception and concierge was a pleasure to talk with, and her directions and suggestions were the best. We can't wait to come back. This was the best hotel of our whole Europe trip. Quaint, elegant, and thoughtfully put together, with a peaceful setting at the top of Bergamo and a lovely castle feel. We felt completely relaxed in this peaceful little haven.
