B&B Ca' Nobil

Gorgeous place, and the host was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, especially the handmade red orange juice. Highly recommend!

We were glad we chose this lovely B&B for two nights, and I’d recommend it. Breakfast could be served whenever suited us and was more than enough to start the day well. The host gave us a warm welcome and explained everything in about 15 minutes, then left us in peace. It’s in a quiet town with a nice garden and parking out back, and about 40 minutes from Milan. Having a car is ideal. The building seems to have been an old farmhouse, but inside it’s bright and modern. The beds were comfortable and nicely decorated, with two doubles and a third bed in one room. There are two bathrooms with showers and toilets. One shower was tiny, which was a bit awkward for a big guy like me. Aside from that, it was close to perfect: clean, spacious, with friendly hosts, private parking and a modern interior.

The B&B host was incredibly friendly and helpful. If, like us, you enjoy getting to know local places in Italy, you can ask him where to go and he’ll point you in the right direction. I’d recommend staying at this B&B in the lovely little town. We also enjoyed walking to a small Italian restaurant around the corner, less than about 1 km away. The streets looked beautiful, and it felt safe to walk at night. The restaurant hosts were very friendly, and we loved the food, especially the dessert and wine. It wasn’t the kind of food South Africans are used to, but we really enjoyed it. Nobody spoke English, which made ordering food and drinks part of the fun. The neat little B&B itself was a pleasure to stay in. Hearing the church bells ring was such a beautiful, welcoming sound when visiting a town abroad.

Marco was a big help with train advice and offered us free rides to the station, which made getting where we wanted to go much easier. We stayed three nights at B&B Ca' Nobil and had a fantastic time. The rooms were spacious, clean and tidy. I’d asked in advance whether an aperitif could be arranged for my boyfriend’s birthday when we arrived, and it was done without any trouble. There’s also a cheap, delicious pizza place just around the corner, a good choice after an expensive day in Milan. Definitely recommend this B&B.
