For a budget stay, the value was good and communication about our late check-in was great. But at 8:30 in the morning, while we were all asleep after arriving late in Italy the night before with young children, someone tried to get into our room several times. My husband and I heard the latch and keypad beeping and woke up. The person stopped, came back five minutes later, and managed to open the door, waking the children too. When we asked at the front desk, they said nobody had entered. I assume housekeeping wanted to finish early, but this wasn’t okay, especially at 8:30 am near an international airport.

The reception staff were very helpful, and the airport shuttle was good. It cost 30 euros for two of us in the evening and 20 euros during the day. The room was adequately equipped, though there was no tea or coffee setup. The bathroom was lovely. It’s a motel on an industrial estate, but clean and handy for a stopover. It was quiet when we arrived, then got busy from around 8 am.

The QR code entry is a hassle because the reader is slow. The room itself was decent for an overnight stay, and the bed was five-star quality.

After a long drive, it was a relief to be shown a large, sparkling clean room. I’d accidentally booked the wrong date and arrived very late, but the staff were helpful and sorted everything out. Thank you!
