Allegroitalia Grand Hotel Terme Della Fratta

I left feeling completely relaxed after six days here. The hotel and restaurant were good, the rooms perfectly clean with forest views, fresh air, quiet nights, and great service. The staff were genuinely welcoming, friendly, and ready to help. It's easy to get to from forli station, and the place sits among vineyards with lovely walking and running routes. The thermal water is excellent quality, a rare mix of bromide, iodine, and salts. My skin feels like silk now. The health and beauty treatments were very professional: I had inhalations, mud wraps with therapeutic baths, and face and body massages. The spa has a big pool with lots of hydromassage points, a relaxation room, and a lemon-scented wet sauna. Having the hotel, restaurant, spa, and beauty care all together is really convenient. A few things could be improved. The building feels a bit dated, and the health treatment area could be made cozier. It looks like a 60s psycho clinic, though the beauty treatment area is fine. The restaurant has a good selection, but the food quality can be disappointing sometimes, especially the fish. The garden could be gorgeous, but it looks like nobody has cared for it in decades. The spot where you collect water for hydropinic care could also be made more presentable.

There are two pools with loads of jets, and I had a great spa visit. The chatty crowd made it a bit less relaxing, though, and the chill-out area was too cold to unwind in. Some herbal tea on the house there would be nice too.

We're a tour operator and had a group booking for 16.06.23. We paid over €6000 in advance, then Allegro Italia cancelled because of flooding. The hotel said we'd get our money back, but they've ignored our emails and haven't refunded anything. That's a very unprofessional way to do business, and I'd warn other tour operators that Allegro Italia may break the contract terms.

A cozy, pleasant place to stay, and the spa experience was amazing.
