We had a great time here with two families and six school-age kids. The huge yard and all the different rooms kept them busy. It’s a great villa for 12 people. Just keep in mind that the pool is closed from November to mid-May.

The pool was wonderful and helped make up for quite a bit. We enjoyed our stay, though it didn’t feel like good value for money. We were also shocked by a utility bill of more than €400 that was hard to make sense of and hadn’t been explained properly at the start of the rental. The villa itself is beautiful, but it needs repairs: the dishwasher, a broken shower, and no hot water in one bathroom, among other things. Traffic noise was a real bother, especially at night, so we couldn’t open the windows in some bedrooms.

Umbria is enchanting, and this villa is a wonderful place in the middle of nature and the countryside. It’s been renovated in keeping with local traditions.
