The restaurant was a highlight: a good range at breakfast, two tasty dinners, and great value wine by the glass. The room felt classy, with a comfortable bed, quiet air conditioning, and a really nice bathroom with a powerful shower. We had a lovely stay at this small hilltop town in northern Umbria. The hotel is the only one in town, and the view stretches across the Vale of Sploeto to Assisi. Highly recommend staying here when visiting Umbria.

The medieval town has a special feel, and the location is beautiful. Everything was clean and pleasant. There aren’t any coffee shops or restaurants open until later in the day, but the hotel’s breakfast and restaurant are nice and offer a good range of food.

The receptionist was great, and everything else was good, but the pool hours were a letdown. It closes at 7 pm, so after a hot day out, we expected to swim and then staff came to say the pool was closing. I also missed having a recycling bin.

The town is sleepy, so having a car is very helpful, and that quiet was exactly what we wanted for a restful break. The location, hotel, and region are wonderful. Christian and Andrea were among the excellent staff; everyone was attentive and made our few days comfortable.
