Residenza Torre del Colle

The peace and quiet, the clean grounds, comfortable bed, and well-kept pool made it easy to relax at this lovely agriturismo. It's tucked among poplars and vineyards in the hills near Assisi. We stayed for two weeks and found it a great base for visiting nearby art cities, villages, and the Umbrian countryside. Stefania and Enzo were warm, spontaneous, attentive, and helpful, and made us feel right at home. We arrived as guests and left as friends. Thanks for everything, from Rossella and Roberto.

It's run by a husband and wife who make you feel at home almost as soon as you start talking to them. The place is charming, surrounded by nature and so peaceful, partly because they only host about thirty people. I fell in love with it on my very first visit. Some photos are so special that I won't put any in this review, but you can find them online. I highly recommend the place and the people who run it. It's just a stone's throw from my house, so I'll be back a lot, very often!

Stefania, the owner, welcomed us so warmly that we felt at home. She also makes excellent sangria. We stayed four days in this wonderful property, in a spacious, well-furnished apartment where every room had its own bathroom. There's a big garden, a pool, and a barbecue too. It's a perfect base for enjoying Umbria, with several typical villages nearby.

The owner is delightful and helpful, and we had a wonderful stay for the money. The apartments were spacious, clean, and well equipped, with views over a pool that was just as well maintained. With greenery and quiet all around, it's a lovely place to unwind and a handy base for visiting many attractions. See you next time!
