Agriturismo Ferri di Ferri Donatella

Donatella was incredibly kind and attentive to what her guests needed. The farmhouse is in a restful area, well placed for reaching different beaches and the hinterland. Their own olive oil is excellent. We had a wonderful holiday and will be back!

I appreciated the free parking pass for paid parking in Marina di Bibbona, and the agriturismo's own olive oil is definitely worth taking home. Dogs are welcome too. The clean accommodation is affordable and sits in the Bibbona countryside, just inland from the Etruscan Coast. I used the covered terrace at the front for all my dinners. The kitchen is very basic, without an oven, microwave, or toaster, though there’s a washing machine and clothesline. There’s a hairdryer in the bathroom and plenty of towels. Shops are the main drawback, as they’re some distance away. I’d suggest the tourist board provide agriturismos with information about attractions, restaurants, and places to try local food and wine.

It’s a quiet place, about ten minutes from the sea and five from the supermarket, pharmacy, and bar. Bolgheri is 15 minutes away and highly recommended. There are different cottages depending on how many people are staying, and they come with air conditioning and a washing machine, which isn’t always a given these days. The two owners are wonderful and helpful. We’ll probably come back, even out of season 😉😉
