The food was fantastic, and the surrounding scenery made everything feel even more peaceful. I loved how much this place felt like home. The rooms were warm and welcoming, and I felt comfortable right away. It was also impressively clean throughout my stay. A lovely spot to unwind and recharge.

The pool stood out for us, whether for a morning swim or a lazy day staying in. Podere Novo is tucked among the Tuscan hills, quiet and restful, with the beach under a 15-minute drive away and Bolgheri and Cecina nearby. Lorenzo restored the traditional local stone house himself. The apartments are simple and comfortable, with handmade touches that make them feel personal. Lorenzo and his daughter Veronica were welcoming and ready to help, from bringing extra towels to suggesting things to see and do.

The view over Bibbona and Tuscany is something else. We had everything we needed for our vacation right in the comfortable apartment, and the host was incredibly friendly. His granddaughter even spoke German. The best vacation of my life!
