Getting to the beach was easy. The accommodation itself wasn’t especially clean or nice.

The rooms could use an update, but the location is perfect and close to the sea.

The caretaker deserves a lot of credit. He was working from early morning until late at night and beyond, cleaning, putting things in order, and always being available if we had a question or problem. A really exceptional person. The property is still beautiful, with a beach and loungers, internal parking, and a very convenient location. We first stayed here five years ago, if I remember right, loved it, and came back. This year, though, we had two big disappointments. Check-in was listed from 4 pm, instead of 2 pm as it had been on previous visits, and at many other places. They let us in at 3:30, but by the time we unloaded, cleaned, went to the supermarket for dinner, and got things ready, the afternoon was gone. We couldn’t even get down to the beach. That was especially frustrating with children. The house was also very dirty, with dust everywhere and a filthy bathroom floor, so I had to clean as soon as we arrived. Five years ago, it had been very clean. There’s a mandatory €50 final cleaning fee, which made the state of the house even more baffling. There were crushed bugs and blood stains on the wall, which I understand could have been left by the previous guest, but they were obvious enough that the cleaners could have wiped them off. We did. I left the cobwebs and dust on the light fixtures as they were. I was very disappointed by the late check-in and having to clean on arrival, and I’m not sure we’ll return.

The setting is beautiful, close to the sea and shaded by a pine forest that keeps things cool. But the room was humid and full of mold, and cleanliness was poor.
