Appartamenti Tuia

We came in to find popcorn and snacks left by the previous guests under the dining table. I waited until evening in case the cleaners were just running late, but no one came, so I had to clean the place myself with a broom, rags, and detergent that weren't supplied. I'm not especially demanding, but basic hygiene should be covered. The apartment is close to the sea, though the furnishings are dated and it feels run-down and poorly maintained. The look is typical of a beachfront rental, but that doesn't excuse the state it was in.

The beach and shops are close, and there’s an indoor parking lot, so at least we didn't have to leave the car on the street. There were quite a lot of mosquitoes, though. For what it costs, I guess this is what you get 😅. I've stayed in worse places. It was fairly clean, but I disinfected everything myself. The boiler dripped, leaving clean water across the counter when we arrived. There was a Pòkhálò on the wall 😂. We brought our own bed linen, so I knew it was clean ☺️. The mattresses are spread out, and my husband is disabled in it 😁. Apart from that, everything was okay.

We had what we needed and the week went well. It's no luxury place, though, and parts of it really need renovating.

The area is nice, with shops and restaurants easy to get to and the beach close by. The place itself had a slightly old smell and very basic facilities.
