The small drawbacks were in the room: the air conditioning wasn't very strong, the shower pressure was low, and sound carried through the walls. Otherwise, I'd rate the hotel excellent. It's close to the beach, with parasols and bikes included in the price, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was great too.

At Hotel Astoria in Bibione, we had reserved beach spots of our own, which made our days by the sea easy and relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was spotless and well looked after. It's also just a short stroll from the beach and close to the main street's shops and restaurants, yet the hotel itself stayed peaceful. We had an amazing stay from start to finish and would highly recommend Hotel Astoria to anyone visiting Bibione.

The beach arrangement really let us down. We were meant to get a spot after arriving, but never got one, not that day, the next morning, or at any point. We didn't realize a beach chair needed a reservation until people with bookings started telling us to move. We'd look at empty spaces under umbrellas and try to guess which ones we could use. Moving around is one thing for two adults, but it gets uncomfortable with two children and a baby in a stroller. We were trying to watch the kids by the water and keep the baby out of the sun, while being moved from spots several times. We were told the first rows were reserved for friends and regular customers, who often didn't even use them. Someone offered us something like the 20th row, which was no use to us. It made us really sad that the private beach felt out of reach. The whole system seemed unworkable and unfair to other guests. Apart from that, the hotel was close to the beach, well located, nicely renovated, and clean throughout. The rooms were nice, the bathrooms felt like new, and everything was cleaned daily. The rooftop pool was amazing, and the bar prices were reasonable. We were pleasantly surprised by breakfast too, with lots of healthy food, fresh pastries, and plenty of choices.

We stayed last August. It's a good spot: quiet, but close to the centre, with clean rooms and a nice beach. Two matching beds and one umbrella were reserved for us throughout the stay, so there was no need to get up early to claim loungers. The owners are very friendly and like children, and the restaurant is elegant.

A wonderful place to stay, run very well and with great staff. The accommodation was lovely, and the location is one of the best in town.
