Bibione Hotel Pillon

I emailed about what happened and got no reply. The owner’s conduct was disgusting, and I’d avoid this hotel. The WiFi login page wouldn’t work for me, my boyfriend, or guests who checked in after us. We reported it at reception, but the female owner kept saying she didn’t know and didn’t try to contact anyone who might be able to help. She sent us back to our room without offering assistance, then left the building on her bicycle 😂🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️. Completely unprofessional. They had also kept our IDs. An hour and a half after check-in, we went down to get them back because we wanted to go for a walk. The owner said our details hadn’t been entered into the system yet, but told us the IDs were safe with them. Even after we asked, she still wouldn’t return them.

At check-in, the woman and an older man kept our IDs for hours because they didn’t know how to enter our details in the computer. When we wanted to go for a walk, they said the IDs were safe with them. The woman left me alone in the lobby and rode off on her bike. The WiFi registration page was down too. We showed them the error several times, but they brushed it off and said it worked for her because she had registered a long time ago. I’d like reception staff who are capable and willing to help, and who take reported problems seriously.

My husband and I chose Hotel Pillon for our honeymoon and were very pleased with it. The room was comfortable, with a balcony, air conditioning, an LCD TV, shower, toilet, and bidet. We ate lots of delicious Italian dishes, and the owners were very hospitable; the staff were polite and friendly. A huge sandy beach with parasols and sun loungers provided free of charge is less than a hundred yards away. The hotel is on the same street as the bus station, making it easy to get to Venice.

There was no TV, and we had to go and get our towels. The place is a little run down, but basically clean. It’s okay if all you need is a bed and a shower.
