Hotel Palace

The food was high class, and the work here is done to an unbelievable standard. Huge respect to everyone on the team, especially the kitchen and cleaning staff and the waiters. Can't wait to come back soon!

We came with my family, and the kids' activities were brilliant. They gave the adults some time to relax. The balcony had a great view, dinner was good, and breakfast was the usual Italian style with scrambled eggs added. The eggs were very soggy, though, which seems typical here ;) I don't have kids of my own, so when I travel alone I'd pick a hotel with fewer children. Still, five stars, because for what this place is and is meant to be, it's really great!

The beach is just a few meters away, and I was lucky to get a first-row sun lounger close to the water. The view from the balcony is great too, so in good weather the location is hard to beat. The staff were friendly and helpful. Most speak German fluently, and almost all know English, so communicating was easy. Housekeeping was excellent, and even the small bathroom shone. I spent three nights here and was impressed. I felt valued as a guest, and nearly everything was great. A few things could be better: the bathroom is very narrow, though that's down to how it was built; I felt they leaned too much toward German and Austrian food choices, while I go to Italy for Italian food, though I know preferences differ; and there wasn't much to do at the hotel on a rainy day. An indoor gym or something similar might help. Those are minor issues, and they fade when I think about the good parts. The hotel lists plenty of other positives on its website, and I can recommend staying here.

There's a great pool, the beach is only a few steps away, and breakfast is very good. You can borrow a bike at reception or play table tennis, table football, or petanque. I'd most likely choose this hotel for a family stay again 👌.
