The bathroom was awful, with the toilet right in the shower and an old, unhygienic brush. The apartment also had a strong bad smell, especially from the wooden furniture, and mosquitoes were everywhere. At Villa Carola, damaged spots on the doors had just been covered with stickers, and the whole place seemed dirty and neglected. Two of the four parties staying in the building left early because they couldn't cope with it. For what we paid, there were much better options. We wouldn't recommend Villa Carola.

The pool never became usable, even though we were told it would be ready by Monday, and we couldn't use it at all during the week. The parking area outside was blocked by building work nearby. Inside and outside were dirty, the air conditioning didn't work properly, and the bad smell lingered despite us opening the windows every day. The toilet in the shower is completely invisible!

The children were very happy there, and the house was lovely with its pool. It's a quiet spot, and everything is an easy walk away.
