For what you pay, the cleanliness should be better. It’s a nice residence, but there’s no elevator and we were on the third floor.

The pool is spectacular, and I wish the listing had mentioned there’s no elevator. The apartment feels dated. Humidity had swollen the wooden door and window frames, so they wouldn’t close.

There’s a lot going for the residence: a large pool, plenty of room to sunbathe, covered parking, and big balconies. But the apartments are very dated. Three years ago ours was small and old, though it did have a shower cabin and washing machine. This year we picked a bigger one, and it was a disaster. The bathroom was tiny, with a shower curtain in the middle and only half of it. After we reported it, the agency brought the missing half and ant spray, which we needed a lot of. The terrace tiles were all loose, the entrance door was hard to understand, and the hallway air conditioner meant the door was what actually worked. The balcony blind was falling apart with age, and the walls were cracked with peeling plaster. I know not every apartment has been renovated, but customers should be told what condition they’re getting, and the price should be lower.

No Wi-Fi, and the kitchen equipment is nothing special, so bring your own gear if you can. The air conditioning barely works. If you just need a reasonably priced place to sleep without any extras, it’s okay.
