The old building, dating from around the 1900s, has high ceilings and windows, and the room was comfortable. Parking can be found along the main street, and it’s free. Breakfast was adequate, though there was no salad, tomato, or olives. Reception closes at 9 pm, checkout is early at 10 am, and there’s no elevator. The hotel is on a busy main road, so an open window lets in a lot of noise, though with it closed there may be some soundproofing. Around 8:30 in the morning, staff start shouting to each other, which can wake you up.

The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were nice. It’s a beautiful building.

We were a family of four in a family room and would fully recommend it. The location is great, with eateries and a nice beach promenade within walking distance, and it’s also near the ferry port. The old Italian architecture is beautiful. Our room was clean, the beds were good, and the air conditioning worked. Service was excellent, and breakfast was a good Italian spread with enough choices and excellent coffee.

Morning service was warm and friendly, and breakfast was good. The location works well for the waterfront, but downtown, the canals, and Fortezza Nuova are less convenient to reach. The rooms had plenty of space, though they looked shabbier than I expected.

The staff were super nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and pleasant, and parking was fine. Breakfast had an average selection, but was good overall. I did miss having a chair or two on the balcony.
