The port is nearby, which is the one good thing about this place. The bunk bed felt very shaky and unsafe, and although I wanted to sleep there, the owner hadn’t provided a sheet for it. The towels and sheets looked old and dirty, and all the wardrobes were locked, so there was nowhere to put our things.
We booked mainly because the ferry is close, and the area is very nice. The place was clean and quite okay, but parking is the big drawback. There’s a cheaper option about a 15-minute walk away for €8 a day; nearby parking spots cost around €40 a day.
The bathroom wasn’t heated, which was a pity. The studio is small but has what you need, and it’s in an excellent central spot.
I reported a small damage at 9:00 AM when I left the room. They charged me €50 for a toilet seat that cost €10, saying I’d caused them trouble because they had only six hours to replace it. You decide 😠
We woke up to no water at all. The apartment managers showed no empathy, and at these prices I’d choose somewhere else. The water comes from a shared tank with the neighboring apartment, so it can run out. We waited about an hour for it to refill, but nothing changed. Maybe the autoclave wasn’t working.
