Augustus Hotel

I’d never had cornetti this good anywhere in Italy. They’re made in house at Hotel Augustus, and honestly, they were sublime. The breakfast also includes freshly prepared fruit salad, cured meats, cheeses, breads, and more. I rarely bother with included hotel breakfasts because they’re usually not as good as a restaurant meal, but this one easily competes. The service is incredibly friendly, too. My room was tastefully decorated, quiet, and just the right size, with enough space to move around while still feeling cozy. The air conditioning worked perfectly and never got too hot or cold. The hotel is in the historic center of Biella, and you enter the parking area from Via Italia. This was my first visit to Hotel Augustus, but I’ll be back. The staff and owners made me feel very welcome.

We’ve now stayed at Hotel Augustus twice, and the care and attention from the staff continue to impress us. Every interaction makes us feel welcome and valued, and the rooms are decorated with real taste and thought. Its location is ideal, and the combination of friendly, professional service and lovely rooms makes the hotel a standout for us. We’ve come to appreciate Hotel Augustus a lot, and look forward to returning and making more memories there.

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The breakfast was delicious, and the owners and staff were super nice, helpful, and friendly. It’s such a convenient base for getting around the city, and a perfect place to relax, take a good shower, then head back out for the day.

The jasmine growing outside smells unreal whenever you walk up to the hotel. Hotel Augustus is right in the old town, close to all the shops and restaurants. I loved how clean it was, and the rooms are spacious and modern. I absolutely loved staying here and would happily return again and again. Thank you 🙏🏻
