Check-in at the front desk was simple, and the breakfast was first class. The room was large and had every convenience I could think of. A superb location too. You couldn’t ask for a nicer place for a pleasant stay.

There were lots of free parking spaces in front of the hotel. Breakfast was all freshly made, with a wide choice of freshly made coffees, though the food leaned toward sweet options like muffins, croissants, and cakes. We’d booked a double room with separate beds, but when that wasn’t available, they gave us a second room at no charge.

We come to visit family every year and stay here, and it’s always a pleasure. The staff are extremely friendly, the breakfasts are fabulous, and the rooms are clean. It’s centrally located, within walking distance of the train station and downtown, with several restaurants nearby. Friendly, helpful, gracious staff. I highly recommend it. This family-owned hotel made us feel more welcome and appreciated than anywhere else we’ve stayed. Hotel Michelangelo is a great fit for English-speaking visitors exploring Biella, a hidden jewel city about one hour from Milan and one hour from Torino. It sits at the very base of the Alps, surrounded by beautiful scenery.
