Whenever I come back to Taranto, I'll definitely stay with you again. Maybe by then you'll have opened another B&B and let me try that one too. I've stayed at other properties with the same ownership, and each one has been a lovely new discovery. This B&B is new, comfortable, and right on the seafront. The room is almost the size of a small apartment, with a sofa, table, chairs, and kitchen, so it's ideal for a family. The cleanliness and price were what I'm used to here. The owner is a great guy. He's investing in quality and service, keeping prices steady and looking after his guests, and I think that'll bring him good luck. I was also fascinated by the history of this simple city. The owner told me a lot about it during my stay.

It's right in the city center, close to all the main sights. I stayed for about a week several years ago. The rooms were small, but clean, with private bathrooms and air conditioning. I don't think there's private parking for people arriving by car, so you'd need to park on the street.

A small beach sits just a few hundred meters from the B&B, in the middle of the city behind a breakwater. It offers some calm for families with children, even when the sea is rough. The coastal beaches are also easy to reach by bus, and have clear blue water with sand dunes that sometimes run onto the road. The bus stop is right outside the front door and serves the rest of the city as well. The accommodation is in the heart of Taranto, in a 19th-century building on a mezzanine floor, so it's easy to access even for people with mobility difficulties. There are three rooms, each with its own bathroom, tastefully and practically furnished with repeated references to Sparta and the Spartans, who founded Taranto in 706 BC. A display case has a splendid reproduction of a Spartan helmet, great for a selfie. Free fiber-optic Wi-Fi is exceptionally fast. The rooms also have air conditioning, a refrigerator, and TV, and the largest one includes a kitchen for anyone hoping to save on costs. Nearby there are plenty of restaurants and businesses for different budgets and tastes. Highly recommended.

By Azzurra. The location is excellent, just steps from the city center and close to the Taranto museum, the Aragonese toll booth, and the only swing bridge. The owners are unique and incredibly helpful.
