La Villa Bianca

The couple running the B&B were friendly and helpful, always ready to meet guests' needs. The place has a large courtyard, a small orchard, and an above-ground pool for children. Nearby, organized lidos and public beaches offer wonderful sea views. The annex belongs to Mr. Francesco's villa and is a two-story house rented to one family, with space for up to 6-7 people. Downstairs are a spacious kitchen, a very large bedroom with a double bed and two singles, and a bathroom with shower. Upstairs are a spacious double bedroom and another room like the one below, with three beds, one double and two singles. The bathroom is shared. There are plenty of restaurants and delis serving excellent Apulian food at excellent prices. Nearby Pesciotto in Lido Gandoli is a fishmonger, deli, and restaurant with the freshest seafood. In Taranto, Puglieria is a fantastic pucceria selling local delicacies on Corso Umberto, overlooking Piazza Vittoria. In central Lama, there's also a great pizzeria, "da Rituccia," and a beer bar with a good beer selection and tasty snacks. I tried the "pidaza," a Mexican tortilla cut into slices and topped with incredibly tasty ingredients.
