We were only passing through and booked one night at the last minute on booking.com. It was tricky to find, but once we got there, the place turned out to be something special. The photos really do say it all. 🥰 There’s a lovely, quiet setting with a mountain stream running by and a BBQ in the back garden. You can arrange breakfast separately, either at the chalet or at Hotel Oasis Verde, where you’re meant to collect the key. No one was on site, so I called. They came straight over with the key and explained everything. 💐 If you need somewhere to stay in this part of Italy, this chalet is a great choice.

The villas are beautiful, roomy, private, and equipped with everything you need. It’s a magical, well-kept spot tucked into nature, and it would work really well for groups in winter or spring. Breakfast comes in a carefully put-together basket, which is delicious and generous. That’s handy if you’d rather not drive back along the narrow roads. 😆 I preferred having breakfast at the property, though, since it’s more plentiful and varied. The place is enchanting. Highly recommended!

I’m sorry to be writing this review, especially since we never stayed there. We booked directly in 2024, but family health issues meant we had to cancel after paying a deposit. We agreed we could stay another time. Since then, after I don’t know how many emails and messages, they’ve barely responded, and they haven’t even answered our calls. The replies have always taken a long time: “We’ll talk again, you can come back, maybe we’ll keep the deposit...” We haven’t forgotten, and maybe this review will help sort things out. Thanks.

The chalets sit in a really secluded, leafy spot, which was great for our four-legged friends. I stayed at Chalet Nocciolo for two nights. The apartment was simple, modern, clean, and had kitchenware. Having breakfast delivered in a basket outside was a lovely idea. A few things could be better: the Wi-Fi barely worked, there were only two Italian TV channels, and the apartment was missing basics like sugar and rock salt.
