The owner was kind, friendly, and helpful, and the staff were courteous and attentive. It was my first stay here, after reading reviews and hearing about the place from friends. The rooms were clean but needed maintenance, especially the bathroom fixtures. The three stars felt deserved, and the price matched the services. I can only partly judge the food since I had the set menu, but it was good quality and there was enough of it. Pisa is a half-hour drive away, which isn't exactly close, but staying in the city center and finding parking under the tower would cost a lot more. Recommended.

Honestly, I'd advise against this hotel. I'll attach photos of our room and leave it at that. The room was also booked by people they know 😅, so maybe it was the "best" one meant to make them look good. What a sight: DUST, MOLD, SOCKS, AND WHO KNOWS WHOSE TRASH.
