I liked having free parking close by at Piazza Moro, and the central location made the B&B convenient. We stayed three nights. The room was clean, the bathroom had a comfortable hydromassage shower, and the woman who greeted us was quite friendly. Breakfast was decent, though having it in the narrow hallway felt cramped. There’s a bar and ice cream shop downstairs, so it can get noisy, especially if you’re looking for a quiet stay.

The bathroom was lovely and clearly new, which is why I’m giving two stars. But if quiet matters to you, staying here can be a nightmare. Breakfast was hard to overlook: four pastries that seemed ancient, cups with everything sloshed around, and grapes that had already been nibbled. He asked whether we wanted fruit juice, then said it wasn’t good and they didn’t have it anymore.

The nice room was the saving grace. There was dust and a lot of damp in the building, which is being renovated, and the ice cream shop beneath the balcony stays open until 3:00 AM.

It’s close to the center and handy if you’re just passing through without high expectations. Still, it was too noisy, and having breakfast in the corridor wasn’t great.
