The food was the highlight for us: proper ROMAGNOLA CUISINE, with fresh pasta and homemade piadina. The dishes were fresh and varied, made with care each day, and never felt repetitive. Breakfast was just as plentiful and had a good mix of sweet and savory choices. We also really enjoyed the lunch buffet, which felt modern while still keeping to tradition, and was served at a convenient time. The dining room staff were attentive and precise, and we never had to ask for anything. Martina was courteous, helpful, and on top of everything. The Ferragosto celebration went beyond what we expected, and there were outdoor games plus an indoor toy room for children. We spent 17 days here and had a perfect stay at this traditional Romagna hotel, the kind that’s hard to find these days. Our comfortable triple room had everything we needed, and housekeeping was great every day. A big thank you to the lady on our floor for her patience. Of all the hotels we’ve stayed at along the Romagna Riviera, this is our favorite. Highly recommended. Greetings to everyone, especially Leone. See you soon!

The food was a lovely surprise, with fresh fish every day and excellent dishes from Mrs. Grazia. The rooms were always tidy and clean, and we were welcomed from the first day with so much warmth and care. Mr. Gabriele, the owner, is genuine and charismatic, and made everyone feel at ease. His daughter Martina is energetic, young, and tireless. We spent a week in September at Hotel Alfonsina in Riccione with my husband, our 11-month-old baby, and our two grandmothers, each in a single room. There were thoughtful extras too: the hotel offered us a beautiful 90-minute boat ride to Gabicce, and there was a live music evening that kept adults and children entertained. We could use bicycles for free, or electric ones for a small €1/hour fee, which made it easy to explore Riccione on our own. With the cleanliness, food, service, family atmosphere, and fair prices, Hotel Alfonsina gave us more than we expected. The value is hard to beat. We’ll definitely return and wholeheartedly recommend it for a peaceful, authentic holiday with lovely surprises.
