Pino and Maddalena were friendly and gave us helpful suggestions. Maddalena's homemade baking at breakfast was delightful, and the pool and area around it were fabulous and clean. The setting is spacious, elegant, and peaceful, with many kinds of trees. Our rooms had private outdoor spaces that made them feel even more roomy. A wonderful choice for staying close to Bari. Just perfect, thanks to everyone.

The rooms are a good size, and the service was excellent. We got clear information before arriving, and the man in the breakfast room was really nice. The only little issue was the wasps. Around eight had gathered near me within two minutes of sitting down, so I ended up moving indoors. Apart from that, a great stay.

Update: Our stay improved as time went on. The breakfast was good by Italian standards, though there isn't much variety. They serve fruit from the garden, and the staff were very kind during breakfast. The room was comfortable, everything worked, and there was a spacious garden behind the building. The patio was well maintained too. The internet didn't work. I could connect to the Wi-Fi through a range extender, but couldn't load any websites. Initial review: We had a sour first day. Because of an early flight, we needed to arrive before check-in and had been told we could wait by the pool. But a man who seemed to be the manager or owner greeted us unfavorably. He pointed at his watch and was rude when we asked questions, which he seemed to resent. He angrily indicated where to park, and spoke very little English. The receptionist was a bit better. The lawn chairs had no cushions, we could barely get two bottles of water, and the ashtrays were full of cigarette ends. Everyone except the cleaning lady seemed to be sulking. The rooms had been cleaned and prepared ahead of check-in, thanks to the cleaning lady. The garden, among olive trees, is spacious and nice. With better organization and a more welcoming attitude, guests could enjoy the place more.

You really need a car to get here. The property sits among olive trees and has a beautiful garden or park. You may see or hear planes during the day, but not very much. Weddings and other events are held here too, and when there's a party, you can hear music and people until nighttime.
