The campsite is lovely and has power, toilets, and a shower, though it can get windy. We camped at agriturismo Ertilo and had dinner there. Agostino and the cook, whose name I forgot, were wonderful hosts. The food was amazing, but there was a lot of it 😋.
We spent the night in our campervan. It was pretty windy, but the views of the landscape and the night sky were amazing.
I needed somewhere calm and off the grid to rest, and Ertila was just right. The food was on point, and the staff were really friendly. Great experience.
The glass facade gives you a wonderful view during dinner. It was the best meal I enjoyed on day 8 of my round trip around the island. Everything is produced locally and sustainably, and the chef clearly cares about quality and is passionate about the food. The atmosphere is friendly and feels like a family.
They served oranges with a lovely cake for dessert, and the oranges were incredible. There were also various liquors to try. Dinner was a set menu based on what the farm had available, with tasty food and generous portions. Having meat grilled over a fire beside your table was a rare experience. All in all, a different and very nice meal.
