Agriturismo Ca' del Sartu

The dinners were delicious, and breakfast was excellent. We stayed at this agriturismo for two nights and already didn't want to leave. The rooms were spacious and clean, and everything was homemade, tasty, light, and plentiful. Special praise for the wine they make. We'll definitely come back!

We loved how quiet and simple the place was. It's a good base for one to three nights while exploring beautiful Bobbio and the surrounding area. The property is 9 km from Bobbio, in a charming location, with a natural beach below where you can take a refreshing swim in the Trebbia River. The restaurant is good, and our simply furnished room was clean, with a comfortable bed and views of the hills. We were in room 5 on the first floor. The bathroom had a hairdryer and complimentary toiletries, though I recommend adding hooks for towels or bathrobes to help keep things tidy. We enjoyed dinner on the lovely terrace and had excellent service from the friendly, courteous owners. The price was average, €180 for an overnight stay, breakfast, and dinner for two. One caution: parts of the final stretch of paved road are particularly narrow, so watch out for oncoming traffic.

We've been here before, two years ago, and enjoyed it so much that I chose to return for my graduation celebration. The road is a little winding, but that's understandable for a farmhouse. The owners and staff are incredibly kind and make you feel at home. The food is fantastic, and the quality and quantity make it affordable too. I always come back for the tortelli with butter and sage. Highly recommended!

This is a quiet, welcoming, family-run agriturismo surrounded by greenery, near the Trebbia River, which you can reach on foot in a short five-minute walk. The owners are incredibly kind and hospitable. The home cooking is really excellent and delicious. It's the perfect place for a one- or two-night stop.
