Camping Village Yolki Palki

The showers are my one complaint: they cost extra and last only about four minutes. Otherwise, there's a nice restaurant and bar, and the staff are friendly. The road up to the campsite is an interesting track. I was glad to be on my motorbike, though a car would be fine too.

The usual road was closed because of a landslide, so getting up the mountain took a bit of effort. Still, it's lovely once you're there: peaceful, with lots of walks and picnic spots. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and there are washing machines and even irons. We had a good, honest dinner in the restaurant.

We really liked being close to nature at this peaceful campground high in the Italian mountains. The owners have provided all the essentials and extras like an iron, kids' play equipment, and a sauna. Getting there means taking a long, winding road, and the showers were cold, brief, and cost a euro.

It's a calm, clean place, and the receptionist was so kind and sweet. The odd part was getting just one token per stay for the bathroom. A token gives you a 10-minute bath, and that's it. If you're mountain biking or hiking, you might want a hot bath after heading out in the morning, but with only one token, you can't. Aside from that, it's a wonderful place to stay.
