The location is excellent, close to everything, and the apartment made our Bologna stay enjoyable. The air conditioning kept the place cool, and for the first time since arriving in Europe 10 days earlier, we had a comfortable night. Guido, the property manager, was especially responsive, and I’d consider staying here again if we return. It’s an old building, so the electrics are old too. Running several things together, such as the aircon, kettle, and washing machine, trips the main RCD downstairs. You have to work out which combination of appliances you can use. The apartment door has an electric keypad, so if you’re locked out and it’s dark, switch the RCD back on downstairs and hopefully you can get in.

Restaurants and shops are all around, yet the apartment stays fairly quiet. It’s clean, comfortable, and well equipped, with a helpful owner who doesn’t intrude. The location is very good, close to both the station and the center. Excellent value for money, I recommend it!

They were very welcoming, and the Bologna Welcome Card is really convenient.
